Nature's mascara

Description

These ground hornbills (Bucorvus cafer) are quite tame and can walk right up to the vehicle. I was curious and zoomed in on the eyes .

Their diet consist of reptiles, frogs, snails, insects and mammals up to the size of hares.

This was taken in Kruger National Park South Africa.
